We gonna play here tonight, if you life in Munich, join us, it´s gonna be good fun. Fräulein Grüneis is a little chalet at the beginning of Englischer Garten, next to the famous surf-spot Eisbach and Haus der Kunst.
Thanks everybody who made it to a very special event in December: ‘Last call to utter chaos’ at Kunstverein, Munich. Unfortunately we completely missed to make some pictures. Thanks to Kunstverein, Stefan Britze (Stagedesign/Installation) and Friedrich Müller to make this happen!! The concert was great, we had the chance to play lots of new tunes of our upcoming album, the reaction was great, that let´s us keep on working on that path.
It was a pleasure for us playing at the finissage of the great fashion event that had been presenting the labels SCHAAF and Le Chateau en Couleur for more than one week in the MaximilianForum in Munich. The location was impressing and our little set of new songs was warmly welcome by our audience. This gives us great confidence for our upcoming album – which takes a little longer than expected – but it will be worth waiting for. Photos by Yves Krier.
Check out some pics from the Kinki Magazine Clubtour gig in Stuttgart in the basement of the fashionstore ‘Là pour là‘ in december 2011… Was good fun, thanks to Matthias, Maria, the Kinki-crew and the amazing crowd.
Here is a bunch of live videos made on Mar 23rd, 2011 in Munich’s Blumenbar.
The concert was part of the monthly event Ambiente initiated by Bartellow.
Among them you find unreleased tracks of our upcoming album.
Thanks to Doro and Matthäus for shooting.

Munich-based artist and stage designer Stefan Britze realized an impressing stage concept for the release party of COLUMBUS’ “Schwarzes Gold”.
It perfectly refers to the songs source of inspiration – „Schwarzes Gold“ was written in 2010 and inspired by the incident in the gulf of Mexico. When Deepwater Horizon sank – making way for the greatest oil spill disaster in history, a clash between technological destructiveness and the vulnerability of the environment became evident.
Therefor Britze made the stage look like drowning in a vast bulk of slimy oil that is leaking from the ceiling – creating the perfect illusion of a black nothing expanding into the room – connecting the artists with their audience.
The overwhelming looks were intensified by multicolor light projections and not least by the huge 3 dimensional COLUMBUS icon protruding from the gleaming mass.

COLUMBUS’ single “Schwarzes Gold” will be available from Dec, 2nd on vinyl and iTunes – and exclusively on the party in Munich’s hot venue KONG.
